Buying movies on Amazon (now officially ) is straightforward, whether you're a Prime member or just have a standard Amazon account. Here is how to do it across different devices. 1. Buying on a Web Browser (PC or Mac)

Renting gives you 30 days to start watching and 48 hours to finish once you’ve hit play. Buying gives you "indefinite" access as long as you have your Amazon account.

You can typically buy directly within the Prime Video app using your Google Play billing or Amazon account.

Select the movie and click the Buy button. You may be asked to enter a "Purchase PIN" if you have parental controls set up. 3. Buying on Mobile Devices (iOS and Android)

Click Purchase (or "Buy Movie"). The cost will be charged to your default 1-click payment method. 2. Buying on Smart TVs and Streaming Devices

On the product page, you’ll usually see options for Rent or Buy . Click Buy to own it permanently. Select your preferred quality (SD, HD, or UHD/4K).

Go to Amazon.com and select Prime Video from the search dropdown, or go directly to the Prime Video tab. Select: Search for the movie you want.
