It's Okay, You're Just A Grower Aubrey Black -
Aubrey raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
Rachel nodded understandingly. "Aubrey, you're a grower," she said gently. it's okay, you're just a grower aubrey black
Aubrey sighed, wiping her hands on her jeans. "I just feel like I'm not good enough. I look at everyone else's work, and it seems so polished, so finished. I'm just... stuck." Aubrey raised an eyebrow
"It's okay, you're just a grower, Aubrey Black," Rachel said, as if reading her thoughts. "Your art, your style, your voice – it's all developing. It's going to take time, and that's okay." Aubrey sighed, wiping her hands on her jeans
From that day on, Aubrey approached her art with a newfound sense of patience and self-compassion. She allowed herself to grow, to experiment, and to make mistakes. And as she did, her art began to flourish in ways she never thought possible.
Rachel smiled. "You're like a plant, Aubrey. You're not going to sprout up overnight, fully formed and flowering. You're going to take your time, slowly pushing through the soil, reaching for the sun. And that's okay."
The moral of the story? It's okay to be a grower. It's okay to take your time, to develop, and to blossom in your own sweet way. You don't have to compare yourself to others; just focus on your own journey, and trust that you'll bloom when the time is right.
