File #2 introduced several quality-of-life improvements over the original Outbreak :

: Set in the Raccoon Zoo, survivors encounter undead animals, including a recurring zombie elephant.

: Set at the Raccoon Police Department (RPD), survivors must defend the precinct before it is completely overrun.

: The final raid on an Umbrella facility as survivors race to escape the city before its scheduled sterilization. Gameplay Mechanics & Improvements

: Each survivor retains their unique "Special Actions" and personal items. For example, Kevin Ryman acts as a high-damage dealer, while Alyssa Ashcroft can pick locks to access hidden areas. Reception and Completion

: Characters can now crawl and pick up healing items from the floor, as well as shove objects to create barricades or new paths.
