The story follows a group of young friends who break into the isolated country home of an elderly couple, Dr. Huggins ( Sylvester McCoy ) and his wife Ellen (Rita Tushingham), believing it contains a safe full of cash. However, when the owners return home early, the heist takes a dark turn. The "easy score" evolves into a deadly game of cat and mouse as the couple reveals a far more sinister nature than the burglars anticipated.
