To Alan’s surprise, Walden agrees to the arrangement, hoping it will help him move on from his recent breakup with Zoey. However, the plan falls apart during the act because Walden is still deeply in love with Zoey and suffers from constant hallucinations of her, as well as his ex-wife Bridget and his mother.
